Do You Offer Medicare Rebates?2025-03-24T07:07:35+11:00

Yes, I do. Here’s how you do it:

Getting a Medicare Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) in Australia involves these steps:

1. Book an Appointment with Your GP
Schedule a long consultation with your general practitioner (GP) to allow enough time for assessment.

2. Discuss Your Mental Health Concerns
Explain your symptoms, such as anxiety, depression, or stress. Your GP will assess whether you’re eligible for a Mental Health Care Plan.

3. Get Your Mental Health Care Plan
If eligible, your GP will create a referral plan, outlining your condition and recommended therapy. You can receive rebates for up to 10 therapy sessions per year with a psychologist, counsellor, or mental health social worker.

4. Choose a Mental Health Professional
Your GP may refer you to a therapist or let you choose one yourself. You can use Joana Miranda’s services if she accepts Medicare referrals.

5. Book Your Therapy Session
Provide your Mental Health Care Plan details when booking to claim Medicare rebates.
